
Northern Power Systems Names Doug Prince Chief Financial Officer

Northern Power Systems, Inc. (http://www.northernpower.com), a next-generation wind turbine technology company and leading manufacturer of permanent magnet direct-drive wind turbines, today announced that is has named Doug Prince as its new Chief Financial Officer.
Mr. Prince has over 30 years of financial and operational leadership experience with global high tech, industrial and life sciences businesses. Prior to joining Northern Power Systems, he served as the Chief Financial Officer for MDS Inc., a $ 1.2 billion publicly traded global life sciences company located in Toronto, Canada. Mr. Prince has also held senior leadership roles at PerkinElmer, GE Capital, Aeroquip-Vickers and AlliedSignal, and spent the first 15 years of his career with General Electric.
