
Northern Power Systems names Charles Vaughan VP Commercialization

Northern Power Systems, Inc. (http://www.northernpower.com), a leading manufacturer of permanent magnet/direct drive (PM/DD) wind turbines, is pleased to announce the addition of Charles W. (Chaz) Vaughan, Jr., to its executive team in the role of Vice President, Commercialization.
Mr. Vaughan will lead global commercialization for the Utility Wind business as the Company launches its utility wind turbine. Prior to joining Northern Power Systems, Mr. Vaughan served as Vice President, Sales, for Clipper Windpower, Inc., where he was responsible for sales and business development in North and South America, the United Kingdom and Europe. In addition, Mr. Vaughan also served as a regional sales director at Clipper and as a regional sales manager at GE Power Generation – Wind Energy.
