A big one. If you haven't bought the pump, you might look at farm based wind where the voltage of the wind turbine is directly matched a pump with storage provided by matching .

    1.5 HP is 1119 watts.

    The problem is that the wind turbine delivers power only when the wind is above a certain speed. The pump needs power when the pressure gets too low. Totally different requirements, the pump will need power when the wind turbine is not moving, the wind turbine will deliver power when the pump is turned off.

    A battery system, consisting of a charge controller, a set of batteries, and an inverter will solve that, but at the cost of a lot of dollars.
