Can and wind turbine run continuously for 6 month or longer?
I am planning on building a solar panel and a wind turbine that run in one generator. I just want to know if the generator can run for 6 month straight or longer? Anyone with some advices I would appreciated.

Hello,
There is no reason not to run either year round.
I do not know the specifics of your , here are a couple of points to ponder:
The turbine should be weather resistant, have some sort of over speed protection by tipping back perhaps spring loaded, turning out of the wind, feather the propeller blades(complicated), watching that the blades do not ice up which may cause unbalance & tear it apart.

The solar can be used year round but may be less useful in winter & need snow removal. Ideally should track the sun but if tilted to the suns average direction (southerly).
Good luck & have fun.

I have had mine for 2 years now. I have started my backup generator about 2 dozen times. I have 91 hours on my backup which was installed at the same time as my wind and solar.

Solar PV cells are estimated to last 50 years unless they get to hot which is over 160F for long periods of time.

Wind generators will last for 20 years unless they get destroyed for high winds (over 55mph) so it is recommended that their is a brake on it that automatically stops or slows down your wind generator at high speeds.

Well unless you have daylight and wind continuously for 6 months the answer is no.

I think you are on the right track.A Solar/Wind/Generator backup are perfect for each other. When you have sun it’s usually not windy. So you have Solar gain. When the sun isn’t shinning there is a good chance the wind is blowing so you have wind gain. When you have neither you have your generator. Look in the source box. There is a site you can visit that invites your input. you CAN actually get your comments posted on that site.
